A reliable delivery is just as important to our customers as the quality of the product, you need to know your products will be there when you require them.
When will my order be delivered?
We deliver Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. Upon confirmation of your order, you will be advised of the approximate delivery date, type of vehicle and method of offloading. We will endeavour to deliver your order on the day you request however sometimes events can happen which are out of our control such as bad weather, traffic delays or unexpected volumes within the pallet network.
Delivery vehicles
Harcourt Minerals Ltd have access to multiple vehicle types and therefore can arrange deliveries throughout the UK, Ireland and worldwide. With over 30 years' delivery experience we can offer you the most suitable, cost effective and flexible transport solution for your delivery.
The delivery vehicle used will depend on the quantity ordered and any site or access restrictions. We have access to most types and size of vehicle so whatever your requirements we will be able to help. Small, palletised orders will usually be delivered by a pallet network company and include tail-lift and pallet truck offload. Larger consignments are delivered by either a rigid or articulated truck with a vehicle mounted Moffett Forklift to offload.
For local or urgent deliveries of 850kg or less we have our own delivery van and can respond to an emergency requirement as soon as possible.
With all our delivery options we must be able to obtain safe and trouble-free access to the point of unloading. Please inform us of any problems that may arise before you place an order so we can organise a delivery vehicle to suit your requirements. It is the customers responsibility to let us know if there are likely to be any issues before your goods are dispatched. Access restrictions may require us to deliver goods over 12 tonnes in 2 parts using our smaller vehicles. We will let you know any additional costs for this at the quotation stage and prior to dispatch.

- Standard rigid curtainside lorry with a hydraulic platform to the rear which is used to lower goods from the lorry to the ground
- Once goods have been lowered to the ground the driver uses either a manual or electrically operated pump truck to manoeuvre the pallets
- The pump truck can only travel over smooth tarmac, concrete or block paved surfaces and will not travel over gravel or grass
- Unable to unload on slopes or take pallets over kerbs although the driver will make every effort to leave the goods in the required area where possible
- Capable of delivering up to 14 tonnes at a time
- Approximate vehicle dimensions are 2.8m(W) x 4m(H) with a maximum length of 12m
- Maximum gross weight of 26 tonnes
- Please ensure your site can accept a vehicle of this size and weight
- Standard rigid curtainside truck complete with its own Moffett Forklift for self off-loading
- Perfect for sites with restricted access
- Capable of delivering up to 13 tonnes at a time
- Also have access to an 8 wheel rigid vehicle which can carry up to 18 tonnes
- Approximate vehicle dimensions are 2.8m(W) x 4m(H) with a maximum length over 12m
- Maximum gross weight of 32 tonnes
- Ideal to offload pallets where ground is uneven or if you require stacking of pallets close to your working location on site
- Please ensure your site can accept a vehicle of this size and weight
- Standard articulated truck with curtainside or flatbed trailer complete with its own Moffett Forklift for self off-loading
- Capable of delivering up to 24 tonnes at a time
- Also have access to an articulated 'Urban' trailer which can carry 20 tonnes and is perfect for restricted access sites
- Approximate vehicle dimensions are 2.8m(W) x 4m(H) with a maximum length over 16.5m
- Maximum gross weight of 44 tonnes
- Ideal to offload pallets where ground is uneven or if you require stacking of the pallets close to your working location on site
- Please ensure your site can accept a vehicle of this size and weight
- Standard articulated truck with curtainside trailer
- Capable of delivering up to 28 tonnes at a time
- Approximate vehicle dimensions are 2.8m(W) x 4m(H) with a maximum length of 16.5m
- Maximum gross weight of 44 tonnes
- This vehicle has no offloading capability so there must be a forklift on site to unload
- Please ensure your site can accept a vehicle of this size and weight
